St
Mary's
is a family church in the heart of Pendle.
Located in the small village of Newchurch in Pendle it serves Roughlee, Barley, Spen Brook and the numerous hamlets around. It has a rich history dating back to 1250 AD. Services are held every Sunday at 9:30 am. We hold various services including Family, Book of Common Prayer and Common Worship. Everyone is welcome. Events are held throughout the year including the traditional Rush Bearing, when the Rush Bearing queen is crowned. Our church is open from dawn to dusk every weekend and daily throughout the Spring and Summer time (31st March to 31st Oct).
